# International Account

### What is an International Account? *(Ascend & Legatus)*

An International Account is an account option made available **through our licensed financial partners**, designed for users who require expanded payment capabilities and tier-based limits depending on verification and regional support.

International account options are available for:

* 💳 **Ascend (Plastic + Bank)**
* 🏦 **Legatus (Metal + Bank)**

### How long does International Account processing take?

Processing and setup **typically take 3–4 weeks**, depending on:

* Verification requirements
* Partner-bank review
* Production and shipping logistics

**Process flow:**\
1️⃣ **KYC approval** → *usually reviewed within 24–48 hours depending on volume and compliance checks*\
2️⃣ **Account & Card creation** → *typically completed within 1–2 weeks through our financial partner*s\
3️⃣ **Card printing, packaging & shipment** → *typically 1–2 weeks based on printing and courier timelines*

Your account will remain **Pending** until the international account setup is complete.

After about **2 weeks** (timeline may vary), users can usually add a mailing address via:\
➡️ *Cards → Physical Card Request → Delivery*

### What is the daily ATM withdrawal limit?

* 💳 **Ascend (Plastic + Bank)** → $3,000/day
* 🏦 **Legatus (Metal + Bank)** → $8,000/day

### How long is the Physical Card valid?

Cards generally include a **5-year validity period**.\
They may be replaced earlier in cases such as:

* Security updates
* Card loss or damage

During ongoing system transitions, some cards may temporarily have a shorter validity.\
Once updates are complete, new cards will return to the standard **5-year validity**.

### How to Activate Your International Virtual Card

* Go to **Menu → All → Account Settings → Submit KYC** (if not yet completed).
* Once KYC is approved, your **International Account package** will appear under ***Accounts***.
* Apply for the **International Account**.
* Account setup is **typically reviewed within 12–24 business hours**, depending on verification
* After approval, go to **Cards → Offshore Card (Plastic or Metal)** and click **Activate**.

### How do I get the BXpay Physical Card?

**Complete KYC:**

* Go to Menu → All → Account Settings → Submit KYC.
* Enter your personal details.
* Upload your passport photo and a selfie holding it.

**Approval & Delivery:**

* After KYC approval and Offshore Account activation, your Physical Card is automatically processed.
* After about 2 weeks, you can add your mailing address under **Cards → Physical Card Request → Delivery.**
* Cards are **typically printed, prepared, and shipped within 1–2 weeks**, depending on logistics
* During this time, your account will remain “Pending.”

### How do I activate my Physical Card?

When your card arrives:

1. Log in to your **BXpay dashboard**.
2. Click **Activate Card**.
3. Upload a **selfie holding your passport and the debit card** you’re activating.
   * Passport details must be **clearly visible**.
4. Enter your **16-digit card number** and confirm activation.

**Activation Time:** typically completed within 24–48 business hours (Mon–Fri).\
Requests made on weekends are processed the next business day.

### How will I receive the PIN for my Physical Card?

Your PIN will be provided inside the **sealed envelope** delivered with your card.

### What are the fees associated with the Physical Card?

There are **no additional fees** for the physical card — it’s included in your **Ascend** or **Legatus** plan.\
Only **replacement fees** apply:

* Ascend → $80
* Legatus → $200

### What are the fees associated with the International Account?

No additional maintenance fees apply to the international account.\
All costs are **included** in the Ascend and Legatus plans.

### What are the annual fees starting from Year 2?

Year 1 only includes the **one-time issuance cost** — there are no recurring annual fees during the first year.

### How can I increase my Physical Card limit?

You can request a **temporary spending limit increase** for 7, 15, or 30 days.

**Approval time:** 12–24 business hours.

### Regions where International Accounts are not supported due to regulatory or network restrictions.

Afghanistan, Burma/Myanmar, Congo (Democratic Republic & Republic), Cuba, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, United States, Yemen

**Russian Clients:**

* Users in Russia may have access to certain network options depending on **regulatory requirements**
* Cards must be shipped **outside Russia** due to logistics restrictions
* Card usability depends on **current regional and network conditions**
